I used the food saver bags for years and with the internet being a wonderful place. I found Bags form Company X in bulk and cheaper and different sizes. GREAT!!!! Well NO!!!! The bags are in bigger rolls and need to be made in to smaller rolls not that big of a deal. The problem is bags look the same but they are different. The problems I had is that the bags made the food saver unit Temperamental not Vacuuming right to not sealing all the time. I am back to food saver bags after trying different companies. My problems have gone away by using Food Saver Bags. For the units I am on my 5th food saver. I still use #4 and #5 everyday. #1 died my fault but Food saver replaced it for FREE then die again old age. I replaced for a newer model. Lost that one to the ex-wife. My favorite one is the AWSOME Gamesaver Titanium 15' bag unit. Bad news they don't made it anymore. I found this out when it quit working :-( I called customer service was told they would replace it for FREE!!! Awesome well no. Not for same unit because they don't make it anymore. I LOVE my 15' bags I know it's only 3' but its a BIG deal to me. So with permission from customer service I took it apart. What I found was my fault AGAIN and was super easy to fix. I don't think everyone can do it but it worked for me and I am glad it did because I get to keep my 15' Bag unit.
